Friends of Disraeli (PTA)
The Friends of Disraeli (Parents Association) was set up in January 2014 to 'run the school minibuses and to subsidise school trips'. We are hugely proud to say that since then, we have also raised money for ipads, protective hockey equipment, items for the Music Department and Forest School activities for all our children.
The money has been raised through a variety of events such as our very popular family bingo night, quiz night, auctioning Pennfest tickets, production of bespoke tea towels, a bursary from the Wycombe Orpheus Male Voice Choir and Coffee Mornings. Over £7500 later and we're keen to raise more! Here is a recap of the funds raised last year:

Our first Coffee Morning was in Dizzy's Kitchen on Friday March 24th 2017 and was the first of many successful coffee mornings and they are still running regularly now! Please do come along to our next Coffee Morning if you can:

We are also planning our day trip to Legoland on Monday 29th June- do keep the date free in your diary if you want to come. More details to be sent out soon.

Did you know if you work for any of the companies listed below and we do a school fundraising event, they could match what we raise and double our money! Great news for our children!

Can you spare two hours a year for this brilliant school?
FOD's fundraising events have raised thousands for the school but we really need more help to continue. We know everyone has commitments, so we're not asking for lots of your time but if we all do just a little bit, we really can achieve big! All we need is for as many parents, carers and grandparents etc as possible to sign up to our 2hr Pledge and be part of an army of Helping Hands.
Helping Hands will make such a difference! If you are willing to sign up, FOD would simply email you about events to see if you're available to help. There will be no pressure. The sorts of tasks Helping Hands may be asked to do include: selling food or drinks at school events, helping in the kitchen, stapling leaflets together, baking a cake or serving at coffee mornings, putting up signs for the Muddy Mile and wrapping presents for Santa's Grotto.
So are you in? Just 10 parents would mean an extra 20 hours of help and if we can get to 100 parents, we'd be looking at a whole week's worth! Just think what we could do! And, if you'd like to commit more than two hours, no problem! ;)
