While working towards compliance with the new GDPR data requirement, we have launched a new service called PARENT APP LITE. This service is a simple way to collect, manage and handle information by obtaining accurate data securely from you as parents. You can find more information nested below.

Parent App Lite

Here at Disraeli we are working towards compliance with the new GDPR data requirement and as such we are launching a new service called PARENT APP LITE.  This service is a simple way to collect, manage and handle information by obtaining accurate data securely from you as parents.

Available on iOS, Andriod and a browser, Parent App Lite provides a convenient and accessible solution for you to review and request changes to the data held on yourselves and your children.

Information you will be able to view and request changes for will be-:

  1. Student Information
  2. Address
  3. Telephones and emails
  4. Medical details
  5. Cultural info
  6. Parental Consents

This process and service will replace any paper confidential record collection.  Please register for this system so we have up to date information for your children and we are up to date with all and new parental consents.

Only parents with parental responsibility, living at the same address, will be able to use this service and have access to a child’s data.

Any parent with a current court order with not be recognised as a parent.

What you need to do:

You will receive an invite with instructions on how to confirm registration with a link and code, see example. (please do contact the office if you need a new invite).

Click the link then follow the prompted instructions to register.  It will prompt you to sign in with either an email account, twitter or facebook.  Once registered you will be prompted to download the app – this is the easiest way to quickly keep up to date.

You will have 14 days to register before your invite code expires.

All your children will be visible once you are registered.  When clicking into each child you will see a screen (similar to the phone image on the left) with various information tabs showing the data we hold. Click into each tab and make any changes required.

We would ask you to please go into the parental consent tab and tick the appropriate boxes to consent to all new parental consent options.  Explanations of which are on the back of this letter.

Save each tab as changes are made and lastly click finish changes at the bottom of the front screen.

You will receive a notification when a data collection submission for your child has been processed.

You can submit a data collection sheet with new information as often as necessary, just as long as previous changes and requests that have been made are marked as closed at our end.

We hope that you will find Parent App Lite a great way to keep your child’s data up to date securely and safely.

Please call into the office if you have any queries or would like help with this new system. Thank you for your continued support.
